HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?

Hypnosis, by definition, is the bypass of a critical faculty and the establishment of selective thinking. It's a natural process used by hypnotists, advertisers, authority figures, teachers and politicians in order to influence people's minds. Hypnosis is the state of concentrated attention to incoming information.

The word hypnosis was coined by Dr. James Braid in 1841. Hypnosis means "sleep" in Greek. Braid later realized hypnosis was not a sleep state, but a process of instilling a dominant idea into one's mind. He changed the word hypnosis into monoideism ( one idea), but it was too late, the word hypnosis had gained popularity and rolled off the tongue.

HOW CAN A PERSON BE HYPNOTIZED?

A state of hypnosis ( focused attention, awe, trance, day-dreaming, drowsiness, mental relaxation) can be established with hypnotic inductions, relaxation techniques, self-hypnosis, conditioning, authoritarianism and other methods of influence like story-telling or various visual and audio effects. 

CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTIZED?

Anyone with normal intelligence ( or above) can be hypnotized as long as they follow the instructions of a hypnotist.

WILL I REMEMBER EVERYTHING after the session?

You probably won't remember everything you hear during the session word for word. However, you will have an awareness of the new information which you receive during the session, as it will positively affect your attitudes and behaviors in a new way.

WILL I BE UNCONSCIOUS DURING Hypnosis?

No, you will be fully awake and hear everything. You will either be in a very focused state of mind, like a zoned out state or feel a little drowsy, similar to a dream-like state. Either way you will be in a receptive state of mind and be fully aware of everything.

WHat is the benefit of VISUALIZATION during trance?

Visualization is an important mental process in goal setting. In a deep state of mental relaxation you are enabled to see your goals  clearly, which enhances your ability and motivation to achieve them in a waking state. With hypnotic relaxation we can excite your mind with pictures, sounds and feelings of your goals having been achieved. Show your mind what you want and it will guide you towards your goals through new attitudes, actions and behaviors.
